INTESA SANPAOLO: 10 "IMPRESE VINCENTI" PRESENTED IN PADUA

Padua, 24 February 2026 – The third stop on the 2026 tour of "Imprese Vincenti" was held in Padua. The programme, run by Intesa Sanpaolo's Banca dei Territori division — led by Stefano Barrese — recognises Italy's outstanding small and mid-sized enterprises.

Ten SMEs from western Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige presented their growth strategies in Italy and abroad to a wide audience of entrepreneurs: Ares Line of Thiene (VI) in Furniture and Design, Atlas Filtri of Limena (PD) in water filtration, Brevetti Angela of Arzignano (VI) in Pharmaceuticals, Dial Funghi of Pergine Valsugana (TN) in Agri-food, Game Vision of San Giorgio in Bosco (PD) — a leader in the distribution of collectible card games, Meccatronica Veneta of Mussolente (VI) and Simem of Minerbe (VR) in Mechanics, Spanesi of San Giorgio delle Pertiche (PD) and WM Technics of Cornedo all'Isarco (BZ) in Automotive, and Tre Erre Impianti of Villafranca di Verona in Construction.

Under the programme, these SMEs receive support from Intesa Sanpaolo and partner organisations across every stage of their business lifecycle, with a focus on investment in intangibles (R&D, supply chain, training) and on the development pillars: international growth, sustainability, protection, innovation, digital transition, and structured finance.

Imprese Vincenti by the numbers

Around 18,000 SMEs have applied to the programme since 2019, with 4,000 in this year alone. The 150 selected for the 2026 edition — including 10 from abroad — were chosen for activating projects or achieving meaningful results in economic value, social impact, innovation and research, digital and green transition, exports and internationalisation, generational succession, training and welfare. Together, these companies employ 150,000 people and post around €35 billion in revenue.

Tour format

Fifteen stops across Italy, including three thematic ones and a closing event with all 150 companies. In partnership with Intesa Sanpaolo Assicurazioni, a special focus is placed on the culture of risk, with a PROTECTION special mention awarded at every stop. In Padua, the mention went to Tre Erre Impianti.

This edition feeds the Imprese Vincenti Community and the Imprese Vincenti Observatory, run jointly with The European House Ambrosetti. In 2025, twelve member companies took part in a Silicon Valley mission organised by Intesa Sanpaolo.

Cristina Balbo, regional director for Veneto Ovest and Trentino Alto Adige

"These ten SMEs are 'Vincenti' because they concretely embody the strength and quality of our productive system and of Made in Italy. Companies that grow and compete by uniting manufacturing tradition and an appetite for innovation, attention to human capital and an international outlook. As Banca dei Territori, we are proud to support these champions investing in digitalisation, sustainability and people, generating economic and social value for the region and the wider community."

Regional outlook from the Research Department

In 2026 Italy's economy will be supported by household consumption and by investment, which will benefit from lower interest rates and the return of the hyper-amortisation incentive. The Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games will deliver broad benefits for Veneto through infrastructure investment, sports tourism, and promotion of the Dolomites.

Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige record higher patent intensity than the Italian average (139 and 125 EPO patents per million inhabitants respectively, against the national 87) and host more than 800 innovative start-ups (8% of the Italian total). 2024 exports: Veneto exceeded €80 billion, Trentino-Alto Adige approached €13 billion — together representing 15% of the national total.
